Twenty what?

Hey everyone! Hope you are having an amazing Thursday so far! I’m doing this from my new phone which is all touch screen and its a challange.

I can’t even begin to believe it that there is only 23 more days left! I have no idea where the time has gone! Last night my mom and I went and bought dress shirts for my brothers to wear. They are dark grey very stylish short sleeves (because it will probably be roasting out) button ups with two pockets. They are exactly what I was looking for! We also bought the cake cutting set with our name and wedding date engraved on it.

Busy Bee!

Hey everyone! I havent been on here in what seems a dog’s age! Yikes better fill you in on EVERYTHING that has been happening. So on May 15th, two Sundays ago was my shower! YAY! I got so much stuff and loved it all! I was just overly blessed! Thank you everyone! My bridesmaids did an awesome job putting it on even though a few things held them up they put together an amazing shower!! Love you :).

Collin and I have really started filling this apartment up! At first It felt so empty and it was not feeling like home. Slowly but surely it is starting to feel real cozy! Some decorations, pictures, and curtains have made that help!

The days are absolutely flying on by! In two days it will exactly be 1 month and I have no idea where the time has gone! This weekend, (May 29th to be exact) will be 1 year that Collin and I have been engaged! 🙂 I will never forget that moment for as long as I live. The butterflies and excitement…hmm love is a beautiful thing!

Speaking of being engaged! I got to see a family friend (my babysitter when I was a tot) be proposed to. Well I didn’t see exactly when it happened but exactly right after! Her ring is gorgeous! Congrats Meltncheese! (or as known as to some people Jenn). 🙂

Hopefully Collin and I are doing something awesome this weekend to celebrate our wonderful year of engagement and of course memorial day! On Friday we will be going to one of Collin’s very good friends wedding ( I have just started to really get to know her) Miss Cali Joy! 🙂 She is so beautiful and will be saying I do to her best friend and I am so excited to be there for it! Its kind of funny because we both kind of started dating around the same time, got engaged around the same time, and now getting married about a month apart!

It has been raining cats and dogs all week in New Hampshire and the sun finally just poked out and it is beautiful outside! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your week! Next time it wont be this long until I chat again!

Early bird gets the worm.

Hey everyone! So this morning I was up and ready to do something at about 6 am. Thats right, a tad bit early for your sleeping in Saturday! But hey what the heck! I started by doing some cleaning then getting ready. Collin and I headed to Wal Mart to pick up some food, light bulbs, and contact paper (which by the way is my WORST enemy.) We had heard of a yard sale happening so we figured we would stop just to check it out.

These are the treasures that we found:

Treasure #1: We got this lamp for $5!

Treasure #2: We got this end table for $2!! The lady knew Collin and I so I think she gave us a deal! 😉

Treasur#3: I found these yesterday at a yard sale when I went with my cousin. These babies were only $3!

A girl can never have too many closets.

We have three closets in our apartment. One that is in the kitchen, one right outside the bathroom (it’s a linen closet, so it teeny-tiny) and one in the bedroom.

So today my cousin and I are going to hit some yard sales up to both look for home decorations! Let me tell you it is beautiful in NH today! 🙂 I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Okay so this is that table we got from Bernie and Phyl’s for only $200! Collin was still doing work o n the place so that explains the mess!

I know, your  jealous of my piggy bank ;). So those bar stools I got for free. What a deal right? I think with them there it really separates the living room and kitchen.

Ta da! We bought the couch at Big Lots for $300! The coffee table and table with the tv on was also purchased at Bernie and Phyl’s for $50 each. I cant wait to get some kind of decorations on the wall!

fourty-three.

Happy Friday!! 🙂 So I havent been on here in a really long time and that’s because I have been busy like crazy! So let me fill you in on everything that has been going on!

We finished painting and cleaning our apartment and let me tell you it was an instant face lift! We moved all our furniture in and this last Sunday I moved all in and have been staying here since! 🙂

As for wedding stuff, I made an appointment for my final dress fitting!! And on Monday I am meeting with someone to do my flowers.

Okay well I am going to post a few more blogs so everything isn’t real crowded! Chat with ya in a few! 🙂

Find Your Happy Place. :)

Because I have been going nonstop and always doing something I seem to start feeling down. Like it’s not worth it, who cares, and blah blah blah. Everyone has something that can just take their mind off of anything that might be going on and instantly put a smile on their face!

I almost would have thought shopping would be mine, but that leaves me feeling stressed about spending money on something I might of really not needed. Then theres tanning, which is my 15 minutes in paradise but doesn’t really relax me because usually I am texting someone about something or making lists in my head. (By the way I am a huge believer of making lists. I do it for everything packing, the store, daily tasks, for the most part I think I just like to cross things off but it does help me without forgetting anything!)

So what is mine? Taking a hot bubble bath. It always has been. I can relax and get clean at the same time!

So our apartment is totally painted and cleaned! You know what the means, we can begin the task of moving….yay! Just glad that I am not a guy and will not have to carry anything heavy up to the third floor! 😉 Hope everyone has an amazing day and remember…Friday is just around the corner! YES! 🙂

fifty-two.

Thats right, only 52 more days until our wedding! Because the list keeps getting smaller it sure makes things get less stressful and more enjoyable! 🙂 Today I pretty much finished up the songs for the reception to give to the DJ and the ceremony song list. Things are just really coming together, including our apartment!

So this is a picture of what used to be our spare room! It is just packed full of all the wedding stuff, and this is where my brother is supposed to sleep when he comes out here for the wedding! Oopsie ;). Have a wonderful day everyone! 🙂

Check!

Hey everyone! Let me tell you I have just been so busy, nonstop! Last time I posted was about the Royal Wedding and wasn’t it just beautiful! 🙂 Best wishes to both of them.

So here are some things that I have got done since the last time I talked to you:

• Got all of the paper goods for the reception (cups, napkins, plates, & table clothes)
• Picked up some more decorations
• Signed the lease for our apartment!
• Started cleaning our apartment (a lot of work!)
• Rolled 230 sets of silverware…(still more to do)
• Finished all the tutus!
• People are RSVP-ing (if you haven’t, please do!)

It feels so good to see how much stuff is coming along! Phew, it sure is a lot of work and this whole nonstop always doing something drains you! It will pay off in the end.  🙂 Of course, there are a bunch of stuff we still need to do like:

• Finish the ceremony song list
• Pick out our vows
• Day-of transportation
• Reception song list
• Final dress fitting
• Hair trial
• & have my shower!! (it’s a surprise, so I have no idea when it is…)

 

Hopefully today I can get at least one of these things done! Enjoy your day everyone! To all the other people planning a wedding, get as much as you can, done early! Feels good the things I have left are not much work! 🙂

A Royal Wedding.

Good morning everyone! It is 5 am here and of course I am up watching the Royal Wedding! Just a few more hours and William & Katie will be saying I do! It is truly a special event and a fairy tale wedding!

Speaking of weddings! Today my mom, aunt, and I are heading out to get some more stuff for my wedding! We are looking to get plates, napkins, cups, and all that good stuff! Yesterday I got treat myself to a facial and let me tell you it was amazing! It was a little over an hour-long and so relaxing, a perfect way to melt the wedding stress away!
